MLMOrphans.com gives abandoned network marketers a place to call homeBy Garnet R. ChaneyOver 20 years ago, I first learned about network marketing. Network marketing is a fascinating concept, and is ultra-simple. Here is the essence of what network marketing is all about: Network Marketing is about recommending to others products that you personally like and use, and receiving a commission from others that try the products that you recommended. Unlike when you recommend a movie, where only the movie theatre, the pop-corn stand, and Hollywood make any money, being involved in network marketing gives you the chance to discover useful life changing products that you can recommend to others. The structure of the company making the products will allow you to be rewarded with commissions and bonuses when others use those products you recommend. Many network marketing companies have very wide ranges of products, and you can receive commissions on products you've never even used personally, when your friends take your recommendation of quality, and try other products from the company you are recommending. No matter what the commission structure of the company, no matter what the products, the whole essence is: Most people enjoy recommending favorite products, movies, and ideas to their friends. It comes naturally to brag about the good things that you've found. Network marketing gives you a chance to get paid for a natural activity that most people do, but don't get paid for. Did you see the word "SALES" in either of the above? Nope! Most people hate sales, so it's a good thing that the definition of true network marketing does not include that word. Network Marketing is something that anyone can do politely, comfortably, and profitably. And where is the pyramid in the above descriptions? It isn't there! Pyramid is a term used by those who don't understand network marketing. Network marketing is more like growing roots, or perhaps a morning glory that spreads and produces flowers whereever it goes. A pyramid is a static, lifeless, dusty structure. Network marketing, when done right, is dynamic, vibrant, growing, and fun. Back in 1983, I invented one of the very first forced matrix programs. The product was recipe referrals. Members joined, bought the recipe books, and contributed recipes for future issues. Eventually I sold the business to a friend, and he recieved mail and money for the club for years. I've since tried many other products, including photo enlargements and albums, vacuum cleaners, solar panels, AMWAY, and others. I made money with some companies, I wasted time with others, others I didn't put much effort into. Still I understand the basics of network marketing, and wish I could get paid for more of the free referals that I make everyday. After the recent collapse of the last network marketing company I was in, a friend from that company contacted me about an idea. He said, "Garnet, you and I both know network marketing is an opportunity that offers the best chance for the average person to invest consistent effort, and reap tremendous rewards. But with the current economy, and many companies not doing the best job of weathering the downtown, many MLM companies have went out of business. There are a lot of orphans out there, people like you and me who know network marketing works. But they need some help to find a better opportunity to benefit from, a new family to join for support in reaching their dreams." As a result of this conversation, www.MLMOrphans.com was born. We established the group to provide a home for network marketing orphans to discover a new company, get support from an experienced team of network marketers, and realize the profits and dreams that network marketing can bring. If you once tried network marketing, but were orphaned by your company, you should check out the MLM Orphans site for network marketers. You'll find a friendly group of people who understand how you feel, and who can help you get back on track with growing a residual income. | |
