SiteMaker is my own website development tool. Many of my sites, (such as this one),
are generated by SiteMaker.
It lets me quickly manage the
content of a website, and merge that content with any style of template.
The tool is completely documented at MyWebSoftwareCenter.
Well, almost completely... I've been making a lot of updates to the tool as I
roll out a lot more new sites with it. MySleepCenter was
recently converted to use this tool, and a lot of new features were added to
the SiteMaker.
I'm preparing for a release of the SiteMaker tool to those who have inquired
about it. If you don't have it, check out MyWebSoftwareCenter for more information
about it's advantages and the problems that it solves.

eBooks? | |
As most of my friends will tell you, I'm very into the production of
eBooks. My grandfather was a typesetter, so you could say I have
publishing in my genes. I've really enjoyed publishing various books
and web sites over the last 20 years, but it doesn't even compare to
the fun I'm having with eBooks.
In 2001, I founded Project Methodius, named after Saint Methodius,
one of the inventors of the Cyrillic alphabet. Project Methodius goal
is to preserve books, both old and new. The project now has a library
of over 100,000 pages of books.
Our first presentation of FREE eBooks on the web is a collection of over
400 eBooks. Other sites are selling
some of these for $10 or more each, but we are providing them free.
Much of the work
to produce these books in HTML was done by Bulgarians who wanted to
learn about the Internet and learn new computer skills.
Two of my favorite stories on that site are
Extracts from Adam's Diary
and Eve's Diary, by
Mark Twain. Write me about your favorites there...
We are also working on many more books that have never before
been published electronically.

keep up with the announcements of new eBooks that I am publishing.
I'm very excited about the medical books, and nature books, of
Project Methodius. You'll be able
to download the books to your computer, or buy them on CD.

Mandrake Bookstore, in San Rafael, has made a major contribution to
the project. During their final days in business, they have contributed
a large collection
of several thousand books, including drama, literature, nature, and science books. Many
of the books are from the 1800's and early 1900's.
We're sorry to see Mandrake pass into history. We appreciate the chance
to give some of their books a new home, and the chance to share these
books with a wider audience.
By the way, volunteers are needed to help with the preservation of these
books. Donations and loans of books and equipment are also very much
needed. If you'd like to help, please contact me.

One of my specialties is the design of search engines. You can see several

interesting meta-search site that incorporates my own patented
algorithm for extracting interesting phrases from any language.
