My Collectible Business CardsI needed some new business cards, so I decided to print these. It's always so hard to decide exactly what I want to say on a business card, so I made a few different varieties. I am not really sure why I would hand out one, instead of another, other than just for the fun of maybe getting out all the cards, and offering the person their choice of card.One of the tricks that real estate agents use is to put their own picture on their cards. This makes it harder for the recipient to throw away the card. They'll want to keep it around forever. My old business card had a picture of 4 kittens on it. Lots of people remarked about the cute kittens, and it was a nice opportunity for me to talk about my four cats. Some people wanted to know if those were my cats pictured on the card, but of course it is almost impossible to get four grown cats to pose together for a picture. Still someday I should try to get them to pose. Sometimes they all crowd onto my desk in the middle of the day, maybe that would be the time to get the picture. Anyhow, the computer where I made that card is buried, and it's monitor is being used for a different computer, (I've been exploring the dual screen mode of one of my laptops, and I must say that it is nice to have two monitors on the same computer), so I decided to create some new cards. Not being narcicistic about myself, (well, I am narcicistic about my websites), I decided I wanted to do something different to make myself memorable, and make it easy for the recipient to remember me. | |
